Heard Ms. Rajika Mahali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, learned A.P.P on behalf of the State.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 28 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 126(2)/109(1)/351/352/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar.
On 31.01.2025 at about 5:00 p.m, petitioner and co-accused persons are alleged to have fired upon the informant. However, petitioner had providential escape.
Ms. Rajika Mahali, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that chargesheet has been submitted in this case. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 28 of 2025.
