HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 32680 of 2025 Court No. - 4 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J. HON'BLE SWARUPAMA CHATURVEDI, J. Heard Sri Lal Behari Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Pradeep Kumar Sahi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a restraint order to be passed directing respondent nos. 1 to 5 not to entertain any complaint, if made at the end of respondent nos. 7 & 8. In our considered view, this kind of mandamus cannot be issued, if any villager or citizen has complaint against the discharge of duty by a person who is under statutory obligation to discharge certain duties. Hence, we decline to grant any indulgence in the matter. Petition being devoid of merits is consigned to records.
