The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.58 dated 20.05.2022 registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 494 & 34 of IPC at Police Station Sujanpur, District Pathankot. 2. As per office report, respondent No.2 has been served, however, none has put in appearance on her behalf. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 10.02.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. 4. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
