1. The petitioners have filed the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents to grant the benefits of service and salary in the pay scale of 10300-34800-4200 G.P along with arrears and interest thereon. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to decide the representation dated 30.04.2025 (Annexure P-14) in a time bound manner.
2. A further prayer has also been made to issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the appointment letter dated 18.03.2021 (Annexure P-7).

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the ratio of the law laid down by this Court in CWP-15896-2023 (O&M), titled as “Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and Anr.” dated 13.09.2024.

Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 30.04.2025 (Annexure P-14) to respondents No.3 and 4 and she shall be satisfied in case, appropriate directions are issued to HITESH 2025.09.01 16:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

5. Notice of motion.
6. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Charanpreet Singh, AAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and has no serious objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, at this stage.
7. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully.
8. At this stage, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 30.04.2025 (Annexure P-14) in view of the law laid down by this Court in CWP-15896-2023, titled as “Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and Anr.” dated 13.09.2024 within a period of four months of date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Needless to observe that the respondent No.3 shall pass a speaking and well reasoned order in the light of the above referred judgment as well as relevant rules/instructions and in case, it is found that the petitioners are entitled to relief claimed in the representation, consequently, all benefits may also be released to the petitioners, without any further delay.
