The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Angara P.S. Case No.16 of 2025(N), for the offences registered under Sections 18(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi. It was submitted that 10 sapling of opium plants were recovered from a barren/raiyati field. It was further submitted that the said field does not belong to the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner was a mere passerby when he was apprehended by the police from the place of occurrence. Learned Spl.P.P. submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi, in connection with Angara P.S.
