Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sessions Trial No. 249 of 2024 arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No. 286 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 103(1) and 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. 3. On 26.07.2024 at about 8.00 p.m., the Informant came to know from the petitioner that his daughter had fallen in the well. The Informant went there and with the help of the villagers, took out the dead body of the deceased. On seeing the dead body, it transpired that the deceased was hacked to death by hoe. Suspicion was raised against the petitioner that he might have committed the murder of the deceased 4. Mr. Sardhu Mahto, learned A.P.P after going through the case diary, submitted that on the confession of the petitioner, hoe which was used in committing murder of the deceased was recovered. It was further submitted that the bloodstained shirt of the petitioner was also recovered on his pointing out. 5. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
