ORDER
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short Cr.P.C.,) has been filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking quashment of the proceedings against him in Crime No.33 of 2020 of Chirala II Town Police Station, Prakasam District.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has stated that the investigation is under process.
3. In view of the fact that the petitioner could not succeed in obtaining interim order in this case as on the date of filing this case, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the petition directing the respondents to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet before the competent authority, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
