Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 379 of The Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 4(A) and 21 The Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957, Section 15 of The Environment Protection Act, 1986, Section 11 and 18 of The Bihar Mineral Concession Prevention of Illegal Mining Transportation & Storage Act, 2019 and Section 56 Bihar Minerals Amendment Rule, 2021. 3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner was involved in illegal transportation and storage of sand and he has four criminal antecedents. 4. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation Patna High Court CR. MISC.
