Preet Singh Chauhan, DAG, Punjab. Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the orders 17.12.2020, Annexures P-7 and P-8, respectively, monthly salary of the petitioner has been decreased and ordered, and for directing the respondents to for enhancement of salary and payment of arrears.
Learned counsel submits that in the previous litigation being direction was issued by this Court, vide order dated 5, to consider the claim of the petitioner for salary/honorarium and pass an appropriate order within a period of two months from that day, which till date has not been he is not even being granted the wages, as has been , but only for discharging the duties for

-2- 4 hours, though there is no condition in the appointment letter with regard to it. Recovery is also being sought to be made from her, without taking into account the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case where she is suffering from cancer, and thus prays that a sympathetic view be taken.

The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents shall re-examine the matter, taking note of the afore-
submissions, within a period of 4 months, uninfluenced by the orders impugned in the present case, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.

The aforesaid satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The matter stands disposed of accordingly and if the petitioner is found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to her interest, the same may be passed after granting opportunity of hearing to her and shall contain reasons, whereupon she shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
