Mr. S.K. Mandal, learned counsel for the informant. 4. On the previous date on the request of learned senior counsel Mr. D.K. Sharma instant bail application was treated as short term bail application. 5. On the previous date learned counsel for the applicant Mr. D.K. Sharma assisted by Mr. Lalit Sharma submits that since the applicant is suffering from chronic disease carcinoma, which is a serious type of cancer and the applicant is suffering from this chronic disease since 2023. The medical prescription has also been enclosed along with the bail application and in paragraph 18 it is clearly stated that the applicant is a senior citizen aged about 62 years is suffering from third stage of cancer. 6. Mr. S.K. Mandal, learned counsel who appears for the complainant, creates certain doubt on the medical prescription by reading the same but when he has gone through with Google Website then he fairly submits that carcinoma is a chronic disease of cancer. 7. On the other side, learned State counsel have also not disputed that the applicant, who is suffering from this chronic disease since 2023 and is a third stage of cancer. He submits that taking into consideration that the applicant is suffering from chronic disease of cancer he may be enlarged on short term bail. 8. 9. After hearing the arguments of learned counsel for the parties and further taking into 2025:UHC:7036 consideration the seriousness of the disease, which the applicant is facing since 2023, this court is of the view that the applicant deserves for short term bail. 10. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case the applicant is admitted to short term bail. 11. Let the applicant ‘Charanjeet Saluja’ be released on short term bail for two months to be reckoned from the date of release on furnishing his personal bond and two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned subject to the condition that he will surrender on expiry of term of short term bail before the court concerned.
