The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to reimburse medical expenses incurred on the treatment of her husband. 2. The petitioner is legally wedded wife of Harish Chandra who was appointed as Chowkidar on 09.11.2022. He fell ill. He was suffering from Cancer. He was treated at P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh where he expired on 26.01.2025. The petitioner incurred medical expenses ₹74,277/- on the treatment of her husband. She, as per Chandigarh Administration Finance Department’s instruction dated 28.08.2009, is entitled to reimbursement. The respondent is asking to submit chronic disease certificate.
