HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 14776 of 2025 Court No. - 4 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent no. 3 to consider the claim of the petitioner for being promoted from the post of follower to the post of Constable in the respondent department. b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent authorities to pay the salary and other emoluments, as payable, from month to month. c) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the pending representation dated 29.08.2025 moved by the petitioner." It appears from the records that the petitioner has already represented the matter to the respondent no. 3 vide representation dated 29.08.2025 which is still pending consideration. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 3 shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
