Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the record. 2. The only prayer made by counsel for the petitioner is to direct the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Chitrakoot to decide the application dated 16.08.2021 submitted by him for grant of N.P.B. Rifle License No.196/Arms License No.A.B.-04,6986 (315 Bore). 3. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that a considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 4. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent no.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Chitrakoot to decide the aforesaid application strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks unless there is no legal impediment.
