This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.2 to expedite the hearing of case and decide the Appeal No. 1730/2024 as computerized case No. C202405000001730 (Gama Versus Ram Nakshtra) under section 331 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act pending before the court of Learned Additional Commissioner (Judicial) Gorakhpur Division Gorakhpur within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that against the judgment passed in proceedings under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, an appeal has been preferred which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur to decide the Appeal No. 1730/2024 as computerized case No. C202405000001730 (Gama Versus Ram Nakshtra) under section 331 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
