The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dumri P.S. Case No. 05 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. No.354 of 2021 (S.T. Case No.194 of 2021), for the offences registered under Section 302 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Gumla. On 17.02.2021 at about 9:00 A.M., the petitioner is alleged to have inflicted several log blows on the husband of the informant due to which he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 19.02.2021. It was further submitted that two witnesses have been examined in this case. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
