1. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6), which is pending in his office regarding the expeditious implementation of EPF scheme for the benefits of the petitioner at the earliest, as she had resigned from service on 27.01.2025. It is further prayed that respondent No.3 may be directed to deposit the employer’s share of Provident Fund since the year 2012, so that the same may be disbursed to the petitioner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Satnampreet Singh Chauhan,DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1,3,4,5,6,7 and 9 Mr. S.K Sharma Advocate, Senior Panel Counsel has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and they have no serious objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully.
5. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
6. It is expected that respondent No.3 shall pass a speaking and well reasoned order and in case, it is found that the petitioner is entitled to any consequential relief, the same shall be released to her, forthwith.
