Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The petitioner by means of the present writ petition has prayed for the following relief:- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.4 Tehsildar Koal, District Aligarh to expeditiously decide the mutation application of the petitioner within a short time bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the facts and circumstances of the present case. ii. Issue any such other and further order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case. iii. Award the cost of the writ petition to the petitioner, against the respondents." 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has already approached this Court by filing Writ-C No.11106 of 2024 for the same relief, which writ petition has been disposed off by this Court by order dated 03.05.2024. 4. Be that as it may, the petitioner has already filed Writ-C No.11106 of 2024 for the same relief, as extracted above, which writ petition has been disposed off by this Court by order dated 03.05.2024. The law is settled that second writ petition for the same cause of action is not maintainable as the principle of res- judicata is attracted. 5. In such view of the fact, the present petition lacks merit and is hereby dismissed with no order as to costs. 6. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority for expeditious disposal of the case by filing appropriate application, and it is expected from the concerned authority to consider and decide the aforesaid application in the light of the order dated 03.05.2024 passed in Writ-C No.11106 of 2024.
