The petitioners have also prayed for arrears thereof subsequent to the aforesaid calculation. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though these petitioners are entitled for the claim made in this writ application, however, for the reasons best known to the official respondents, the same has not been taken care of. Accordingly, they may be directed to pass an appropriate order with regard to the claim made by the petitioners. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counter- affidavit has been filed as such, instant writ application may be disposed of by directing the petitioners to file fresh representation before the respondent No. 2. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid submission, the instant writ application stands disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to treat this writ application as representation and pass an appropriate order with regard to the claim made by the petitioners by passing reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations, within a period 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. One of the petitioners is directed to serve the copy of this order along with the copy of writ application to the 2nd respondent, as early as possible. 5.
