Petitioner's claim for payment of compensation on account of victim of a crime against scheduled caste requires consideration in terms of the government policy contained in government order dated 14.6.2016. Grievance is that in terms of the victim protection scheme part of the amount has been released but balance amount has not been paid to her. Petitioner has already approached the third respondent. We dispose of this petition with the observation that the third respondent shall accord consideration to petitioner's claim in terms of the applicable policy, within a period of two months, from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
