The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for direction to respondent no. 4 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2025 with regard to payment of alleged balance amount of Rs. 10,04,820/- to the petitioner firm for the work, said to have been done by it under a work contract dated 07.01.2021. 2. The date of completion of the work under the contract was 28.02.2021. The case of the petitioner is that the work was completed within specified time and the bill was submitted, duly counter-signed by the Junior Engineer. 3. The writ petition is disposed of by providing that respondent no. 4 may examine the claim and make appropriate recommendation in respect of the claim of the petitioner to the competent authority. 4. It is clarified that in case claim is rejected, it will not give rise to any fresh cause of action so as to extend the limitation. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
