Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the Union of India. 2. The petitioner submits that he has been working in hard areas and that the department has a scheme of compassionate posting; that, under the scheme he has now been transferred to Bikaner from Shivalik project area. 3. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel that the petitioner has been continuously working in the hard areas, we grant liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the Competent Authority to grant him a posting in the soft area and if permissible in-situ posting and 1 2025:UHC:7706-DB the promotion. 4. If the representation is submitted within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the same shall be considered and disposed of within a further period of fifteen days by the Competent Authority. If the representation is not submitted within ten days, the petitioner will not be entitled to the benefit of this order. 5. Petition stands ordered accordingly. 6. No order as to costs. (G.
