This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i). issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents no. 2/ District Magistrate -Sonbhadra to consider and decide the application/representation of the petitioner dated 03.09.2025 which is pending before him, expeditiously, as soon as possible, within a specified period of time as this Hon'ble Court may fix." 2. From the perusal of the material on record, it appears that some order was passed in Case No. 2317 of 1992 against the father of the petitioner, in which, a restoration application has been filed on 18.01.2021, which is pending consideration. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for counter affidavit, the authorities are hereby directed to proceed with the restoration application filed in Case No. 2317 of 1992 and decide the same strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. September 16, 2025 A. V.
