The present Application has been under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 2. The applicant no.1 was the husband of the respondent no.3- victim. Applicant no.2 is the mother, applicant no.3 is the father and applicant no.4 is the brother of the applicant no.1. 3. The respondent no.2 is the brother of the respondent no.3 and informant of the present matter. 4. Mr. Rajat Mittial, learned counsel for the 1 2025:UHC:7692 applicants. 5. Mr. G.S. Sandhu, learned Additional Advocate General for the respondent no.1. 6. Ms. Poonam Rauthan, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 & 3. 7. All the applicants are present in-person. They are identified by Mr. Rajat Mittal, Advocate. 8. The respondent no.2 and respondent no.3 are present in-person. They are identified by Ms. Poonam Rauthan, Advocate. 9. The applicant no.1 and the respondent no.3 submitted that a divorce decree has been passed by the competent court. 10. The applicants, the respondent no.2 and the respondent no.3 submitted that they have filed a compounding application and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The respondent no.2 and respondent no.3 have requested to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.151 of 2024 (Old Criminal Case No.862 of 2023), “State vs. Imran Khan and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun under Sections 323, 324, 498A, 504 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition 2 2025:UHC:7692 Act, 1961, Section 3 read with Section 4 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019. 11. The said request has not been opposed by the respondent no.1. 12. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.151 of 2024 (Old Criminal Case No.862 of 2023), “State vs. Imran Khan and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun, are quashed. 13. Resultantly, the present Application filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.151 of 2024 (Old Criminal Case No.862 of 2023), “State vs. Imran Khan and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Vikasnagar, District Dehradun, are hereby quashed. ___________________ ALOK KUMAR VERMA, J.
