When the matter was taken up on 01.08.2025, this Court has noted that respondent no.3/Executive Engineer, Lohaghat, District Champawat, has admitted that the petitioner is eligible for family pension, but due to inter- departmental communication, the pension could not be paid to her. On that date, the Court requested the respondent no.3/Executive Engineer, Lohaghat, District Champawat, to join the proceedings of this Court. Today, Mr. Hitesh, the Executive Engineer, Lohaghat, District Champawat, has joined the proceedings through video conferencing. He submits that the claim of the petitioner has been admitted and the bills have already been forwarded to the Treasury, and the petitioner has been communicated about it. The Court takes on record the statement given by respondent no.3/Executive Engineer, Lohaghat, District Champawat. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bills have already been sent to the treasury, and now nothing survives in this writ petition.
