1. The petitioners have filed the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issuance a writ in the nature of Mandamum, directing the respondents to pay full salary in the pay band with grade pay, all allowances including dearness allowances to the petitioners, who were recruited as ETT Teachers through direct recruitment, during the 2 years period of probation along with arrears and interest and also to treat such probation period towards permanent service for all intents and purposes, including for the purpose of grant of increments and seniority.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the case of the petitioners is covered by the judgment passed by a Division Bench of this Court in CWP No.17064-2017 titled as “Ajay Kumar Singla Vs. State of Punjab and others” and other connected cases, which were decided on 16.02.2023 (Annexure P-5). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 09.01.2025 (Annexure P-7) to the respondents and he shall be satisfied, in case appropriate directions are issued to HEMLATA 2025.08.29 04:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-25376-2025 -2- respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 09.01.2025 (Annexure P-7) in a time bound manner.
3. Notice of motion.
4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Satnampreet Singh Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners.
5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
6. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, it would be appropriate to direct respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 09.01.2025 (Annexure P-7), by passing a speaking and well reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this
order. Undoubtedly, while passing the order, respondent No.1 shall take into
consideration the law laid down by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP No.17064-2017 titled as “Ajay Kumar Singla Vs. State of Punjab and others” and other connected cases, which were decided on 16.02.2023 (Annexure P-5) of the relevant rules/instructions. In case, the petitioners are found entitled to any relief, as claimed in the representation dated 09.01.2025 (Annexure P-7), the same shall also be released to them forthwith.
7. The present petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms.
