1. Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of report dated 25.07.2017, Annexure P1 as also notices dated 27.07.2017, Annexures P2 and P3, issued to the petitioner under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003, whereby petitioner is alleged to have committed theft of electricity.
2. Having heard counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the instant petition is not maintainable. The remedy available to the petitioner is for approaching the Special Court constituted under Section 153 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
