The petitioners have assailed individual notices issued to them by respondent no. 4 on 27.8.2025, stating that the petitioners are in illegal possession of land of Irrigation Department, having constructed house and shop over the same. They were required to demolish the constructions within fifteen days and inform respondent no. 4 about the same. By the same notice, 11.9.2025 was fixed seeking reply of the petitioners, failing which, the illegal possession and the constructions would be demolished. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners during course of arguments states that after filing of the writ petition, the petitioners have filed their replies to the impugned notices. 3. As the petitioners have already replied to the impugned notices, therefore, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to respondent no. 4 to take decision on the reply submitted by the petitioners within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order and till then, no action shall be taken on basis of the impugned notices. Thereafter, the impugned notices would abide by the decision that would be taken by respondent no. 4 in pursuance of the instant order. In case copy of the instant order is not communicated to respondent no. 4 within two weeks from today, the protection granted to the petitioners would be of no avail and it shall be open to the fourth respondent to proceed in the matter in accordance with law.
