1. The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent-State authorities particularly respondents No.2 to 4 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members as well as to take action upon the repeated complaints/representations made by the petitioner.

3. Mr. Subhash Godara, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and waives service.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied if, at this stage, directions are issued to the respondent No.3 (Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, Punjab) to decide representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) within a time bound manner.

In view thereof and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 (Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, Punjab) to decide the representation dated 16.08.2025 (Annexure P-6), within a period of six weeks weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, by passing a speaking/reasoned order, in accordance with law.

Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
