The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.139 dated 04.10.2024 registered under Section 3(1) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Section 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station Jaito, District Faridkot. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 09.10.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. 3. Learned State counsel, while referring to the averments made in paras 10 & 11 of the status report and on instructions from ASI Sikander Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation Vinod Kothiyal 2025.05.22 15:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document CRM-M-50852-2024 -2- on 12.10.2024 and has also surrendered the mobile phone which has already been sent to the FSL for examination and the petitioner is no more required for further investigation. 4.
