Present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.165 dated 05.06.2025 under Sections 420 of IPC 1860/318(4) of BNS, registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur. 2. Learned State counsel has produced the custody certificate of the petitioner in the Court today, which is taken on record. 3. It has been submitted by learned State counsel that the petitioner and his son, both are accused, whereas his son is yet to be arrested. 4. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press the present petition, at this stage. However, he submits that the petitioner is suffering from liver cirrhosis and is not being provided the required treatment. He thus, prays POOJA SHARMA 2025.09.05 13:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-48107-2025 -2- that the respondent-state be directed to ensure the proper treatment to the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, the respondent-State is directed to ensure the proper medical treatment provided to the petitioner. In case, the medical treatment as required, is not provided to the petitioner, he would be at liberty to approach this Court again.
