It is the claim of the petitioner that it entered into an agreement with the Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital for installation of Hoardings/Unipoles, etc. at 172 places. But, they were allotted only 72 places and at one welcome gate, they have yet not been given space to put their Hoardings/Unipoles. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per agreement, the petitioner has not been given places to place their Hoardings/Unipoles, which is causing great financial loss to the petitioner; the petitioner has already given a representation dated 08.07.2025, which is Annexure No.6 to the writ petition, but it has yet not been decided. She seeks directions that the respondents may be directed to decide the representation within stipulated time. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that at welcome gate, the petitioner could not place Hoardings/Unipoles, as there were some road widening operations, but very soon they may be permitted to do so. He would also submit that in the representation, the petitioner has also stated for extension of the term of period of contract, which is subject matter of the agreement. He would submit that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned counsel for the respondents. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of four weeks.
