Order No. 06/ Dated: 26.08.2025 Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that in the light of judgment and sentence dated 06.08.2008 passed by Sri Alok Kumar Dubey, then learned Additional Sessions Judge-5 (FTC), Dumka in Sessions Case No. 164 of 2006, both the appellants Ram Prasad Hansda and Mantu Hansda have been directed to be released for one year on furnishing bail bonds of Rs, 2,000/- . 2. Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that this Criminal Appeal become infructuous as the appellants have alreadyfurnished the bonds in the light of judgment and sentence dated 06.08.2008Sri Alok Kumar Dubey, then learned Additional Sessions Judge-5 (FTC), Dumka in Sessions Case No. 164 of 2006. 3. Learned counsel for the State has raised no objection. 4. Perused the Lower Court Record , it appears that the appellants have already furnished bail bonds on 06.08.2008 on the light of impugned judgment and sentence passed by Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:26761 2 the learned Trial Court and the period of bonds has already expired. 5. It appears that the appellants were convicted for the offence under sections 323, 341/34 IPC but they were directed to be released for one year on furnishing probation bonds of Rs. 2,000/- with one surety like bonds for each and to appear and receive sentence and they had already furnished their bonds on 06.08.2008 itself. 6. Thus more than 16 years have passed. 7. Thus, this Criminal Appeal (S.J.) 1083 of 2008 stands disposed of as having become infructuous . (Sanjay Prasad, J.) Bibha/
