By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful marital/live-in life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has stated that petitioner no. 1 is resident of Delhi and petitioner no. 2 is rendering his services for his livelihood at Delhi. 4. In view of the above, no cause of action survives for pressing the instant petition preferred at the behest of the petitioners, since the police protection cannot be provided apart from territorial jurisdiction of Uttar Pradesh and as such, the petition stands dismissed.
