(2025:JHHC:24401) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2597 of 2025 Jiban Singh @ Jivan Singh, aged about 31 years, son of late Shivnath Singh, resident of village- Adalbera, P.O.- MGM (Mango), P.S.- MGM (Mango Muffasil), Town Jamshedpur, District- East Singbhum, Jharkhand. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Dilip Kr. Karmakar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Ajay Kr. Pathak, A.P.P. --- 04/20.08.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with MGM P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. case No.1037 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.502 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) and 123 of the B.N.S, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Budhni Devi, who died in suspicion circumstances in her matrimonial home. From the perusal of the postmortem report, it appears that she has not sustained any external injury. Report from the forensic science laboratory earlier called for, has been received. It appears that no trace of poison was found in the viscera of the deceased. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur, in connection with MGM P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. case No.1037 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.502 of 2024). (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
