JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 16-09-2025 The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs :- “I. For issuance of appropriate order/s, direction/s including a writ preferably in the nature of MANDAMUS directing the Respondent No.-3 the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur - to dispose of the Mutation Revision Case No. 01/2022-23 pending before it expeditiously, which has been filed by Respondent No. 5 and 6 (opposite party) on 07/04/2022 against the order passed in Mutation Appeal No. 192/2015-16 by the DCLR, East Muzaffarpur, within a reasonable and stipulated time from passing of the order by this Hon'ble Court. Patna High Court CWJC No.14649 of 2025(2) dt.16-09-2025 2/2 II. For any other appropriate relief/reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of this case.” 2. Heard Mr. Mrityunjay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Deepak Kumar, learned AC to GP-4 for the State-respondents. 3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that his Mutation Revision Case No. 01/2022-23 pending before the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur (respondent No. 3) is not being decided despite the same being filed in the year 2022. The petitioner has prayed for the expeditious disposal of his Mutation Revision Case No. 01/2022-23 before the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur (respondent No. 3), but even then, no hearing of his matter has been held. 4. Considering the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner, the Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur (respondent No. 3), is hereby directed to dispose of the petitioner’s Mutation Revision Case No. 01/2022-23 expeditiously within the next four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this Court’s order or production of the same, as per the provision of law, according to merit. Accordingly, with this direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. annu/- (Shailendra Singh, J) U
