The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide deemed date of promotion to the petitioner to the post of PGT/Headmaster and, thereafter, as Principal (School Cadre) under Divyang (PH) quota in terms of the Government instructions.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that a similar matter, CWP No.22604 of 2025, was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 17.09.2025 on the instructions issued by the Department. The order reads as under:
2. Learned State counsel has received instructions from the Department vide memo dated 17.09.2025, which is retained on the case file as Annexure ‘A’. It is to the following effect: In this context it is submitted that the seniority of handicapped TGTs/Master Cadre has been received from the O/o DGEE. On the basis of the seniority, a roster is being prepared as per the instruction of the Chief Secretary. from the field offices. The eligible candidates will be promoted as per the relevant rules. It may take approximate three month time to complete the process. She submits that the petitioners will, accordingly, be finally considered for promotion as per the Rules within three months.
Accordingly, she contends that after finalisation of seniority the petitioner will also be considered for promotion as per rules within three months, and all consequential benefits, due to him in terms therewith, will also be released.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.

Ordered accordingly.

In case the petitioner remains aggrieved after finalisation of seniority, he will be at liberty to agitate his rights.
