2. By way of this application, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-
“i. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s) / direction(s) in the nature of certiorari for quashing the entry bearing Entry No. A/348 in the Surveillance (“daagi”) Register in P.S.- Rupauli, District- Purnia, by which the petitioner’s name was entered as a History -sheeter and as a Tainted Man and surveillance of the petitioner was undertaken by the local police; ii. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/

order(s)/direction(s) in the nature of mandamus for a direction to concerned respondents to forthwith remove the name of the petitioner from the surveillance/“daagi” register as well as from the “daagi” board (contained in Annexure- P/11 displayed in the Rupauli P.S., District- Purnia.”
3. The petitioner is directed to file a representation before the Superintendent of Police, Purnia for redressal of his grievances. If such a representation is filed, the Superintendent of Police, Purnia will pass a reasoned order dealing with the grievances of the petitioner within two months from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner.
