A statement made on behalf of the appellants that in full and final satisfaction of their claim, an amount of Rs.2,62,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Only) over and above the amount awarded by the tribunal be awarded and be disbursed to the appellant No.2-Nirmal Singh S/o Atma Ram, having been accepted on behalf of the insurer of the offending vehicle, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit with the office of the Lok Adalat a cheque in the sum of Rs.2,62,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Only), favouring the appellant No.2-Nirmal Singh S/o Atma Ram for & on behalf of all the claimants, within six weeks from today, failing which the amount hereby awarded shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment thereof.
The cheque so deposited may be collected by the above- named appellant or the counsel representing the appellants against proper receipt.
Miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
A copy of this order be made available to each of the appearing counsel, and file be consigned.
