Upon instructions from ASI Ranbir Singh, Police Station Gurdaspur City, State counsel submits that firearm licence, in original, has been handed back to the petitioner. He states that as the firearm licence has expired, petitioner has to get it renewed and once it is done, the revolver will be released to him. 2. Counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the statement made by the State counsel. 3. In view thereof, writ petition is disposed of.
