Heard the counsel for the petitioner and Additional Government Advocate for the State. The present petition has been filed for the following relief:- "a) Issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to produce the progress report and make sure the fare investigation in pursuance of First Information Report dated 5.5.2025 lodged by the petitioner against the Respondent No. 4, in Case Crime No. 0187 of 2025, under Sections 493 and 506 I.P.C., P.S. Kokhraj, District Kaushambi and it is further to change the I.O. and to investigate under the supervision of S.P." It has been stated by the Additional Government Advocate that charge-sheet has already been filed in the aforesaid case. In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed. The facts disclose commission of cognizable offence and it is not a case for taking cognizance under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
