The writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief: "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent 2 for Running the Account and withdrawal the Fixed amount in favor of the petitioner which has been matured as in Account No.0127206582000 State Bank of India Branch- Hanumanganj District Prayagraj along with 18% thereon within stipulated time period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court and further directing and commanding the Respondent authority to take necessary action upon the representations/applications dated 30.05.2022, and 30.06.2025. of the Petitioner for considering the grievances of the petitioner)." 2. The petitioner is claiming maturity amount of reinvestment plan bearing Account No. 0127206582000 at State Bank of India, Branch Hanumanganj, District Prayagraj. The said account is in the name of Chhote Lal Shukla. The case of the petitioner is that the said account was in fact opened by him but by mistake name of Chhote Lal Shukla was mentioned. The maturity amount is now being claimed by the petitioner. 3. Ms. Aruna Singh holding brief of Ms. Archana Singh, counsel for the respondent - Bank has taken the stand that the documents, provided by the petitioner for verification at the time of opening of the account, were also Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Madan Ji Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I., Satish Chaturvedi Basdev Shukla @ Chhotey Lal Shukla .....Petitioner(s) Union Of India And Another .....Respondent(s) in the name of Chhote Lal Shukla. She submits that the Bank can release the maturity amount in favour of the petitioner only after the petitioner seeks declaration from any Competent Court/Competent Authority regarding his stand that Chhote Lal Shukla, under whose name the reinvestment plan was opened, is the same person as Basdev Shukla, the petitioner herein. 4. We fully agree with the submission of learned counsel for the Bank. The maturity amount can be released only after the petitioner gets the required declaration from Competent Court/Competent Authority. Thus, we leave it open to the petitioner to seek proper declaration and file the required documents before the Bank, so that the application is processed. 5.
