2. THE ADVOCATE GENERAL The Court made the following Order: (per Hon’ble Sri Justice R. Raghunandan Rao)
The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking release of his wife from the alleged illegal custody of the parents of his wife. The alleged detenue was physically present in the Court, on 26.03.2025. The alleged detenue had stated that, she has married the petitioner and wishes to live with the petitioner. She has also expressed certain apprehensions as to the physical safety of the petitioner and herself as she apprehends danger from her family.

2. In these circumstances, this Court, by an order, dated 26.03.2025, had directed the Station House Officer, Tadepalli Police Station to ensure adequate protection to the petitioner and the alleged detenue at the house of the petitioner.
3. The matter again came up, on 02.04.2025, when this Court has ensured that adequate protection has been given to the alleged detenue and the petitioner and there are no awkward incidents till now.
4. The learned Government Pleader, in the office of the learned Advocate General, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that, the protection directed by this Court has been continued till today and that the petitioner and the alleged detenue are moving around freely and going to their work.
5. In these circumstances, nothing further survives in this Writ Petition and accordingly, it is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ R. RAGHUNANDAN RAO, J
