He was intercepted and taken into custody. Based on his confession, the respondent police has come to know that the petitioner along with other absconding accused had a habit of transporting banned tobacco product from Bangalore and supply it to the retailers in Chennai. 2. Heard both sides. 3. Considering the gravity of offence and also the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition.
