Heard Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr Manvendra Dixit, learned Standing Counsel for State respondents. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that an application, dated 20.11.2024, for compassionate appointment of petitioner, as his father died in harness on 27.10.2023, is filed, however, he fairly submits that an appropriate application will be filed and prays that this writ petition may be disposed of with a liberty to file an appropriate application within two weeks, with a further prayer that the said application may be considered by the concerned respondent. 3. Learned Standing Counsel assures that as soon as an appropriate application is filed by the petitioner, his claim, for compassionate appointment, will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Taking note of aforesaid submission as well as assurance given by learned Standing Counsel, this petition is disposed of observing that as soon as the petitioner files an appropriate application, preferably within a period of two weeks, the same shall be considered by the concerned respondent, in accordance with law and taking note of judgment passed by Supreme Court in case of State of West Bengal vs. Debabrata Tiwari and others, 2023 SCC Online SC 219.
