Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself. 3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased a property measuring about 8 cents, comprised in S.No.261/2 at Pandur Village, Thirunavalur Panchayat, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.33444 of 2025 District from one Kuppammal. This being so, the petitioner filed an application dated 19.02.2025, seeking sub division patta with respect to the aforesaid property. However, till date, no order was passed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. 4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2025 seeking for patta transfer. 5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2025 would be considered and orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 6. Though, an application for sub division patta transfer was filed on 19.02.2025, this Court is unable to understand, why the respondents have not taken any action, till date. Certainly, this Court expressing its displeasure with regard to the way in which no steps have been taken by the respondents. Of course, the third respondent is supposed to explain the delay to the respondents 1 & 2, in the event if they ask for any reason for the delay and it is upto the first respondent to call for an explanation and initiate departmental proceedings against the third respondent. 8. In view of the above, this Court directs the third respondent to dispose the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2025, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.33444 of 2025 9.
