The instant petition has been filed by the petitioners for directions to the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty from the respondent No.4. 2. The learned counsel representing the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a representation dated 24.08.2025 (Annexure P-4) before respondents No.2. The learned counsel prays for directions to the police authorities to decide the abovementioned representation within a stipulated time. 3. Notice of motion to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction for disposing of the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-4) be given to respondents No.2 and that the instant writ petition be disposed of accordingly. 6. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2 to pass a speaking order and decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-4) within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of instant order. 7. It is further directed that the petitioners shall be provided requisite safety and security to protect their life and liberty, if required. It is however clarified that any observation is not being made by this Court with regard to threat perception to the petitioners. The police authority of District Yamuna Nagar shall be at liberty to make an independent assessment of the threat perception to the petitioners, and take a decision on the issue of providing security to them. 8.
