Thereafter, deceased had gone to her matrimonial home on 15.06.2025 where she committed suicide on 19.06.2025. 4-It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that as per the prosecution case, general role of demand of dowry has been levelled against all the accused persons whereas specific role of demand of dowry and harassment has been levelled against co-accused Upendra, who is husband of the deceased. The applicant is mother-in-law of the deceased and has been falsely implicated in this case. During investigation, Pramod and Neelam who are brother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased have been exonerated. It is next pointed out that except a ligature mark, no other injury was found on the body of the deceased. The applicant has no criminal history to her credit and is languishing in jail since 22.06.2025. Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : Sridevi .....Applicant(s) State of U.P. .....Opposite Party(s) In case the applicant is released on bail, she will not misuse the liberty of bail and will cooperate in the early disposal of the case. 5-Per contra, learned A.G.A. for the State opposed the prayer for bail of the applicant but does not dispute the above factual aspect of the matter as argued on behalf of the applicant. 6-Having heard learned counsel for the parties and examined the matter in its entirety, I find that as per the post-mortem report, cause of death of the deceased is asphyxia due to antemortem hanging. 7-Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as keeping in view the nature of the offence, evidence, complicity of the accused and submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, I am of the view that the applicant has made out a fit case for bail.
