Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of instructions of the Station House Officer, Jaggaiahpet Police Station, Krishna District, wherein it is stated that both the complainant and accused have settled the matter before the Lok Adalath in terms of compromise and accordingly, the accused are acquitted under Section 320(8) Cr.P.C., on 08.02.2020. 3. In view of the fact that as the matter has been compromised between both the parties before Lok Adalat and the accused are acquitted, this Court is of the opinion that the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for further adjudication. 4. Accordingly, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.
