The petitioner claims compensation under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojna upon death of his younger brother. 2. It seems that an adverse report has been submitted against the claim of the petitioner by the Tehsil Authorities. However, no final decision has been taken by the District Level Committee which is empowered to decide the claim. 3. Shri Rajiv Gupta, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel states that the said Committee will take the decision in case, it has not already taken the decision. 4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 to ensure that the claim is considered and decided by the Committee within eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order if the claim is still pending and has not been decided by the Competent Authority so far.
