The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Jamtara P.S. Case No. 233/2024 registered for the offence under section 310(4)(5) of BNS (U/s 399/402 of the IPC) and Sections 25(1-B)a 26/35 of Arms Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M, Jamtara. On 12.12.2024, Jamtara police on the basis of confidential information that some criminals have assembled near Mohra Bridge and were making preparation to commit dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended the petitioner along with two other accused persons. On search, firearms were recovered from the possession of co-accused persons. It was submitted that only mobile phone is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that co-accused namely Jitendra Mahato @ Yadav has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.2368 of 2025. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Jamtara, in connection with Jamtara P.S.
